There have been four incidents of thefts of horse medication in the Faringdon area reported over the last 2 days.Overnight between Tuesday (1/3) and Wednesday (2/3) outbuildings in Baulking, Buckland and Fernham, were broken into.Between 4pm and 9pm yesterday (2/3) a tack room in Hatford was broken into.Offender(s) ignored high value tack items and stole horse medication.


Gamekeepers, farmers and landowners joined Thames Valley Police in a joint anti-poaching and rural crime operation recently. Operation Massey was led by Thames Valley Police officers who worked with Gloucestershire Police and Wiltshire Police.  The operation took place on the nights of 15 and 16 February across The Ridgeway and crossed police borders targeting areas in which poachers are known to carry out their illegal activities.Four vehicles were seen to be involved in poaching activity and damaging fields over the two nights, and officers were able to seize one of these vehicles.  Leads are currently being followed up for the other three.
