1. MESSAGE FOR HORSE OWNERS

A new Thames Valley Horsewatch website can be found at http://www.thamesvalleyhorsewatch.org.uk/
The site provides crime prevention advice, a link for requesting newly designed Horsewatch packs (which includes a crime prevention advice leaflet and a handy inventory booklet for you to list your equestrian property), Horsewatch yard signs and “Stop me in the hours of darkness” stickers for you vehicles. You can also download the inventory sheet from the website so you can make an electronic copy on your computer or print more off at home. The new website also allows people to register as a Horsewatch member so please share with your friends, the more people they have as members the more effective they can be.

2. SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE

A dark green Land Rover Discovery XS Tdi VRN P427 M## (reported in previous alerts) was seen driving around an estate near Woodcote (Oxfordshire) at around 8 pm on 7 Feb 16.  It was followed as it drove around the estate before driving off towards Woodcote.

3. RURAL CRIME

Between 2000hrs on Thursday 4th February and 0653hrs on Friday 5th February a burglary occurred at a stable in Western Turville. The chain to the main gate was cut and a blue STEPHILLS generator was stolen as well as a number of handmade horse shoes which are marked with the name LEWIS PLUMMER.
